Joy Moyles
Joy Moyles is a professional and experienced event planner with more than 15 years in the special events industry.
Educated in Newfoundland and Ontario, Joy majored in Marketing and worked for many years in the ‘visual’ marketing arena. It was her expertise in this area that eventually led her into her current career of planning functions and special events for both the corporate and social market.
She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in events of all sizes, and tackles small sophisticated gatherings with the same tenacity as large spectacular celebrations. She has the skills and strategies necessary to overcome the complex obstacles and excessive stress often associated with events, and she strives to ensure that every single orchestration is a reflection of her client’s vision, mission and values. Her in-depth business experience and perfectionist approach – along with her light-hearted and cordial manner – have served her well in establishing herself as a much sought after event designer and producer.
Joy’s passion for charity and her ‘too big’ social conscience keeps her extremely active and involved in the community where she constantly lends her support to numerous causes that make a difference in people’s lives. She is a cabinet member with Victim’s Services of Peel (VSOP), an active committee member with Starr’s On The Credit, and a sub-committee chair for the newly created RESPECT Awards. For 2 years in a row she has successfully planned and produced – absolutely free – the Red Rose Regale gourmet New Year’s Day luncheon for those in the community who are deprived by circumstances outside their control. She is an active member of the Mississauga Board of Trade, as well as several industry organizations.
Joy’s credits include appearances on City TV and CFTO, media interviews, articles and seminar presentations, a long list of industry awards and the execution of numerous successful and amazing events.
